Saturday Ethan, Drew, and myself and Grandma and Grandpa Little went down to DC. Morgan and Jenna had a baby shower for a neighbor of ours. We had a blast! It was cold and windy, but I think it was worth it.We went to the American History Museum at the Smithsonian and saw the flag that flew over Fort McHenry when Francis Scott Key wrote the national anthem. Then had some real fun down in the kids experients and science area. It had tons of hands on science stuff. The kids loved it and we checked out the transportation section with trains and cars in American history. My highlight was C3PO on display. Ethan took this picture of me and 3PO! Drew took the picture of Grandma Little below.
Then we stood out in the cold and went up to the top of the Washington Monument. The view was great. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Little for coming along for the trip with the boys! We loved it!
