Ethan, Drew and I headed down to DC Saturday morning. It was boys morning out, so Mom and Morgan could have some girl time. We parked by the tidal basin across from the Jefferson Memorial. Just as we got out of the car, an Osprey hit the water and came back up with a fish and flew away. Ethan was like wow! That was awesome, did you see that bird?!
We walked over to the Natural History Museum to check out the dinosaur bones and all the cool exhibits. We have been there a few times and take-in some of the exhibits each time. This time we hit the dinosaurs (always a favorite) and then headed to the Western Culture exhibit where we could see the Mummies. Ethan is all about Mummies these days.
We had some lunch on the Mall and then headed back. Home for the afternoon. We had a good time!
